It is widely recognized that children acquire new language differently from adults. Boston Summer Kids' Program is designed to teach kids English the way kids learn best: through participation in a variety of educational activities involving different materials and media.
Students join with new friends from around the globe to learn English through games, art, stories, poetry and more. Instructors in the Kids' Program are all trained ESL professionals with a special aptitude for working with children and different media. |

Outdoor Activities
Every week, children in the Kids' Program have the opportunity to go on outings with their instructors and classmates at the Center. Sample afternoon outings include pottery painting, trips to the Franklin Park Zoo, the Aquarium, and the Swan Boats in Boston's famous Public Garden. Parents are also welcome to join the weekly excursions.
Our students, together with their parents, enjoy an ongoing schedule of outdoor activities such as soccer, cycling, canoeing, outdoor concerts and free movies in and around Boston.
Students traditionally visit at least one museum per session. In past summers, children have visited the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Science. |
